VEL SUBSEA pH PROBE (with online module)
The pH probe is developed specifically to detect the degree and presence of cement in sea water, because cement increases the pH value of sea water. The probe is a highly valuable tool during well completion subsea.
The pH probe is tailored and designed to be operated using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) down to 2000 MBSL.
Two sensors ensure exceptionally accurate measurements (±0.05).
The probe is equipped with a highly visible subsea display, that can show pH-value, water temperature, status of battery (%), as well as pressure and humidity within the pH probe, according to request.
The probe is tailored and designed to be operated using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) down to 2000 MBSL. A fishtail is supplied with the probe.
Battery/operation time is approximately 75 hours. A full charge takes 3 to 4 hours.
The pH probe is delivered with a online module that ensures communication to the surface.
